Calgary South serving in the Willow Park Ward!!!

I am in Calgary South serving in the Willow Park Ward, and yes that is the ward that President is in! its awesome!!! I have a car with only 500 Kilometers to drive on it though, but that's ok.... it use to be 300 until I talked with President :)    (negotiating with the President, that is definitely Elder Martin)  My new Companion is still new, he's been out 3 months and his names Elder Nilsson he's from Nova Scotia and is very quiet... and very timid but no worries I'm used to having those, He will do great.  Its a pretty dead Area because we share it with the sisters and well the ward likes the Sisters more than Elders so we are going to have to instill some amazing member trust here, so it looks like I have my work cut out for me! I am still district leader and in all honesty I think president put me in here because the ward needs a charismatic missionary haha......(still needs to learn some humility it seems....). We live on our own with payment of like 5 buck for wash and dry cycle its retarded expensive, the Spanish elders live 2 floors above us we have a little work out facility but nothing amazingly awesome... it smells like a smokes heaven on our hall but in the pad its pretty nice :) I drive a Chevy Cruze as well its pretty nice... front wheel drive though :( but this area should be pretty fun! :) In my District I have the Zone Leaders and the Sister Training Leaders...... so we will see how that goes.

Transfers......

Wellll.... mom and dad i'm being transferred back up to Calgary somewhere! I'm alright with that, so I will find out exactly where and who my Companion is tomorrow, be surrounded by more missionaries instead of being out here.... way in Taber! :) I will get to know some of the mission more!

So this week we have meet with Kody 3 times, taught him about Book of Mormon and importance of baptism, The restoration, and Plan of salvation! he is just soaking it up with a sponge! His baptism is set for Feb 22! i'm a little bummed i'm gone but that's alright! :) so that's what our week consisted of! :)

I also went on an exchange with Elder King (going home this transfer) we went into Lethbridge, and he was asked by President to go to the LDS employment center to learn some things like how to apply all what you learned on your mission back into life at home and how to get a job, that was interesting...... haha but still cool :) then we went to Fat Burger, and I got the XXL burger! 1lbs of beef! and then all the condiments :) SOOOO good!!! Nice treat...

We went to Barnwell and also talked with The Olsons... they are an awesome family, Brendan was a convert he's only 15 but is awesome, i've actually gotten to grow a relationship with that family over the past 6 months, defiantly a family I will be visiting and staying in touch with throughout my life :) other than that things are GREAT! a little chilly today -18 so our language like -1 haha but it warmed up significantly from last week :) Im sad Elder king is leaving, but he is off to home to start life! he will also be kept in touch with! :) Elder Ciminski is praying he gets another cool companion, he said who can hopefully handle putting him on the plane haha....  But I'm doing fantastic! sounds like all is well there as well! :) tell Calvin Gratz, and Traci hiiii! :) and Derek and Davis whats uppppp!!!! and that we can have matching cool scars :)

District shoveling extravaganza in Taber

wow  and that's awesome that they are already talking about a mission... and at 18! (Derek & Davis) umm we just finished studying in PMG last month about Christ like attributes, I prefer Hope, Charity and love, and Knowledge :)
No idea when were getting IPads because of Canadas privacy rules... so I have no idea on the rules yet.

soooo this week we picked up another new investigator, he just walked up to us after church and said I want to learn what it will take to get baptized! :) his name is Cody ______ who is 11, and his mom is  getting active in the church again.... so that was awesome! :) were teaching him on Thursday night :) then we got a call from a member in 1st ward in Taber saying he has 2 people who are interested in learning the gospel.... so whats what we are going to do tonight! is going out to meet them! :) ( Elder Martin said the work is really starting to pick up but he feels like with transfers next week he might be leaving Taber)

We also went on a district shoveling extravaganza in Taber! :) just hit a ton of streets lol then went to Tim Hortons (pretty much the star bucks up here) mmm white hot chocolate haha or normal with a shot of creamy caramel! :) ummm I don't know what else happened haha if I think of it i shall let ya know! :) I have really enjoyed this last transfer....
