We received an email plus a letter from Elder Martin today,  He is doing great and is in really good spirits. He and his companion Elder Vang from Yuba City California were made Zone Leaders over 30 Elders and Sisters.  Elder Martin is enjoying  his MTC experience but knows the hard work is still ahead of him,  He has  seen Elder Myers from the Alpine Ward a few times and said it was neat how he always had a smile. Sunday they had a Fireside with President Allen, the Mission Commissioner and afterword they were able to watch Sister Monson's funeral,  he said "the spirit was so strong in the meeting it was insane!" It was neat to see that he is doing well and his letters and emails have helped to put his parents at ease, he said he would send some pictures as soon as he could get some time.
